Sadie came back to CPACTC for an appointment in our Cosmetology Clinic with her mother and grandmother this past Friday. She graciously agreed to give us an update on what she has been doing since graduation from the Nursing program at CPACTC.
Describe the company or industry in which you currently work.
“I will soon be starting a job at Hershey Children’s Hospital.”
What is your job title and what do you do?
“BSN, RN Pediatric Oncology.”
What additional education and training did you receive after leaving CPACTC?
“I have been a patient care technician at UPMC Hospitals.”
What other education and training did you receive after CPACTC?
“I attended Waynesburg University, and got my BSN, RN. CPACTC made me feel very prepared with the skills I acquired during my education in the Nursing program.”
How was Cumberland Perry different from your regular high school?
“Allowed me to form new friendships with others that had the same career interests that I had. It focused specifically on preparing me for the future career I wanted.”
How has your industry changed?
“Technology is always changing in Nursing, the medical field.”
What is your favorite CPACTC memory?
“Going to the Skills USA Nursing Competitions with my peers to show my skills off that I had obtained so far.”
